How do I purchase a beat?
Simply browse our catalog, select the beat you want, choose your license tier, and click Add to Cart. You can pay securely via credit card, PayPal, or other available payment methods at checkout.
How do I download my beat after purchase?
After completing your purchase, you'll receive an email with your download link. Files are delivered instantly — no waiting required. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder or contact us.
What file formats will I receive?
It depends on your license:
Standard — High-quality MP3
Premium — MP3 + WAV
Unlimited — MP3 + WAV + Stems
Exclusive — MP3 + WAV + Stems (full ownership)
Can I preview beats before buying?
Yes! Every beat on our site has a built-in audio player. Click play to listen before you purchase.
Licensing
What is the difference between a lease and an exclusive?
A lease (Standard, Premium, Unlimited) means you can use the beat, but we can still sell it to other artists. An Exclusive means you own the beat outright — it gets removed from the store and no one else can use it.
Can I use a leased beat on Spotify or Apple Music?
Yes — with a Premium or higher license. Standard leases are for non-commercial use (YouTube, SoundCloud, etc.). Premium and above include DSP distribution rights for platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.
Can I perform live with a leased beat?
Paid live performances require an Unlimited or Exclusive license. Standard and Premium leases cover online and radio use only.
Do I need to credit Embark Sounds?
We appreciate a credit (e.g. "Prod. by Embark Sounds") but it is not required for most license tiers. Check your specific license agreement for full details.
What happens if I want to upgrade my license later?
You can upgrade your license at any time by purchasing the higher tier and contacting us with your original order details. We'll credit the difference where possible.
